Merton Passenger Transport has purchased two Mercedes-Benz Sprinters with Mellor coachbuilt bodies for welfare operations.
They have 16 detachable Rescroft CT Lite seats and can carry up to five wheelchair users and are allocated to different programmes: One will transport elderly passengers to a day centre and the other will service a charity for brain injuries.
