UrbanThings, the London-based intelligent mobility provider, has announced recent hires as part of its future growth plans.
John Fagan joins the team as Product Manager. He brings experience in location technology, smart cities and smart mobility having previously worked at QGiS in Namibia, Multimap in the UK and Australia, Microsoft’s Bing Maps and Axon Vibe in Switzerland.
“I’m pleased to find myself working with like-minded people who are passionate about disrupting the gas guzzling car market through sustainable urban mobility solutions,” he says. “And I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to the UrbanThings table and exploring how we can help our customers even further.”
Joining as Marketing Manager is Jessica Lewis-Stone. With a background in transport SaaS, UrbanThings hopes Jess will help ‘bridge the gap’ between customers and UrbanThings’ product and sales teams, evolving the company’s offering alongside the changing market, and accelerating business growth. “I’m delighted to be joining UrbanThings at a time where keeping people connected and mobile has proven more important than ever. I’m looking forward to what we’ll achieve next – watch this space.”
Finally, George Boulton joins the company as Platform Developer, bringing a background in security-based solutions in Azure and electrical distribution software. “The thing I’m most looking forward to in my role is contributing to making the lives of everyday commuters just a little bit easier,” he says.
Adds CEO of UrbanThings Carl Partridge: “I’m delighted to share the news of our new starters and am incredibly excited at what these growth plans will mean for our current and future customer base. Our mission is to connect people and places via our trusted software solutions and I believe we can truly make a difference to the mobility sector with our ever-talented, ever-growing UrbanThings team.”
