LandFlight was continuing an almost 40-year tradition of transporting armed forces veterans to the annual Remembrance Day parade in Knowle on 11 November.
The Solihull-based executive travel company was maintaining its partnership with the Royal British Legion branch in nearby Knowle by providing a complimentary, low-floor bus to transport ex-Service personnel to the town’s Remembrance Day events. Over the years, LandFlight has transported hundreds of former soldiers, sailors and air crew to the occasion.
Landflight Director Danny Matthews says it is “an honour and a pleasure” to support Knowle’s Royal British Legion by helping members needing transport to the parade.
