New Lanark Mills World Heritage Site invites the travel trade to stay in its on-site hotel for the VisitScotland Expo on 11-12 April.
The 18th-century cotton spinning mill village is an hour south of Glasgow, the site of the Expo.
It is offering bed and breakfast in the three-star, 38-bedroom hotel for £79.
The hotel is celebrating its 20th anniversary since opening in 1998, following a major rebuild and renovation of the building that was originally the village’s Mill No. 1.
“In this anniversary year for the hotel we’re inviting travel trade professionals attending VisitScotland Expo to come and stay with us and see this wonderful world heritage site,” says John Stirrat, New Lanark Mill Hotel General Manager.
“We’re located about an hour from Glasgow and Edinburgh and about 20 minutes off the M74, so ideal as a stop-off either before or after the show, or as a base during the show itself. We’ll also be giving our travel trade guests the opportunity to take a free familiarisation visit around the site, including the opportunity to see our exciting new exhibition.”
