Warrington’s Own Buses has reliveried an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 into a special scheme to support Warrington Pride 2023, which was held in the town on Saturday 24 June.
The work is the result of a partnership between the Warrington Business Improvement District (BID) and its collaborators, which include the town’s municipally owned bus operator.
The rear panel on the Enviro200 promotes the local Pride event, Glitter, which featured acts such as Fleur East, Crystal from RuPaul’s Drag Race, and others.
Warrington’s Own Buses Managing Director Ben Wakerley says: “We wanted something bold and dynamic that can show our support of Pride all year round. It certainly brings a flash of colour and community to our fleet. We work closely with Warrington BID and its partners to deliver the best we can for our town and its diverse communities.”
Before the event was held, Warrington BID Project Manager Andrea Morley added that the organisation was planning to work with businesses in Warrington town centre to support their plans for the day in question.
