That was the message that West of England Traffic Commissioner (TC), Kevin Rooney sent, in remarks aimed at all O-Licence holders.
It came when he banned Taunton-based K & J Hodge Contractors from operating, after its director said he was “too busy on other matters” to address issues reported by DVSA. One included a lorry that was not inspected for 37 weeks.
He added that it was appropriate to end the licence immediately.
