At 18 years and eight months old, Adam Stevens is the youngest driver to pass all his tests at Reading Buses.
He started as a recruit in the Reading Buses Academy on 17 December 2018 and has since passed all five tests to become a fully-fledged bus driver.
Adam hopes to make a career in buses though he isn’t looking to progress beyond driving them at the moment.
Mick Hughes, Reading Buses Academy Manager, says: “Adam has done really well in his training. We know that he will be a great asset to the team – as they say in football, if you are good enough, you are old enough.”
