A new device called Shoft has been introduced that the manufacturer says prevent back twinges for drivers.
It helps to keep the spine aligned with the seat back by eliminating the slack that naturally creeps into the seatbelt as the journey progresses. Shoft’s unique in-built ‘brake pad’ engages the lap section of the belt, keeping it tensioned.
That helps to prevent the driver slipping down into the seat, and it keeps his or her spine aligned with the seat back, preventing strain.
