Arriva Midlands has agreed a deal with Rotala-owned Diamond Bus to take on the majority of the Arriva Wednesfield operation, from 23 April.
Eleven buses and 45-50 staff will transfer to Rotala. The leased depot will not transfer.
Arriva will retain operation of the 10 A/B and the 335 services, which will transfer to other Arriva depots.
Says Rob Cheveaux, Area Managing Director for Arriva Midlands (West): “There will be no redundancies with some staff transferring to other Arriva depots and the remaining staff being offered employment by Diamond Bus.”
