Goole-based Drury Coaches has purchased an i6 integral, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514) as conquest business.
The 12.9m 57-seater also represents the first DAF-powered vehicle for the Drury Coaches.
“I’d heard good reports about Irizar integrals from other operators and was impressed enough to think that I’d better try one,” says Partner Richard Wilson.
“I liked it so much that I thought it was time we had something different.
“The DAF engine is new to us, but we have had good results from the ZF EcoLife gearbox on other coaches.”
The i6 integral has Irizar’s virtual cockpit. Further driver aids include predictive and adaptive cruise control. The vehicle will stay on fleet for up to 10 years.
