EVM UK will show members of its newly added AOS-branded range at Euro Bus Expo alongside members of its mini- and mid-sized line-up. In a noticeable shift for the business, three of the eight vehicles to be displayed will be battery-electric models.
In that zero-emission sphere, EVM will show an e-Cityline minibus; an Iveco Daily based 8.7m Composite Mobility accessible midibus that is also available with diesel power; and a left-hand drive AOS Novociti Volt 8m bus. The latter is for product feedback from the UK market.
In the diesel segment, EVM will display high-specification Mercedes-Benz Sprinter based minicoaches in both converted X-Clusive and coachbuilt Grand Tourer form, alongside its Iveco Daily based Revolution model with 33 seats (pictured, below).
Other AOS models will be the 8.5m Grand Toro centre-engined midicoach, seating up to 35, and the 9.7m Visigo rear-engined model that seats up to 39 (pictured, above).
Those and the Novociti Volt are being introduced to the UK market through EVM’s partnership with Anadolu Isuzu and the business has high hopes for them.
Orders are already in place for the Grand Toro and the Visigo, with the former powered by a Cummins ISB4.5 engine driving through an Allison automatic gearbox and the latter having an ISB6.7 coupled to the ZF EcoLife transmission.
In addition to seeing the EVM vehicle offering on its expanded stand – twice the supplier’s normal size – visitors to Euro Bus Expo will be able to meet its team, including recent recruits Steve O’Neill, who heads work with the AOS brand, and Andy Mageer, who has joined EVM as Customer and Network Support Manager.
Euro Bus Expo will be held between 1-3 November at the NEC Birmingham. Register for free tickets here. EVM will be on stand A80.
