Dumbarton operator McColl’s Travel has added four Mercedes-Benz Sprinters with Mellor Strata low-floor bodywork to its fleet.
They have been purchased following contract wins to supplement the operator’s existing work for Strathclyde Partnership for Transport.
Says Managing Director Liam McColl: “We’d heard good things about the Strata and decided to arrange a trial. We were immediately impressed by its economy and performance. The new vehicles have proven very popular and it is likely we will look to Mellor again the next time we need to expand our fleet.”
