The Evening Standard newspaper in London reports that money left on unused Oyster cards has now reached record levels.
Money on dormant Oyster cards – those unused for 12 months or more – is increasing by more than
£1 million a month and according to the paper, now stands at over £250 million across 45.5 million unused cards. The news has brought calls from various people that TfL must step up on its procedures as to how the public can reclaim money.
