Moseley Distributors reassures customers: ‘We’re open’

Coach dealership Moseley Distributors has moved to reassure its customers that it is open for business.

Managing Director Jim Tweedie made the announcement via the Airdrie-based dealer’s website on 17 June, the day after South Elmsall-based dealership Moseley (PCV) was placed into administration.

Mr Tweedie says he is “greatly saddened” by that news, but he adds that Moseley Distributors “would like to reassure all our customers and friends that we are still very much here.”

He notes that the Airdrie business remains a separate, financially strong company. It will continue to provide coach sales, parts and body and mechanical repairs.

“We are working towards a return to normal trading in the wake of the coronavirus COVID-19 crisis in line with government advice.

“At present we are open on a reduced capacity every Tuesday and Thursday. Parts are available to order and minor repairs are being carried out with a temporarily reduced number of workshop staff.”

Moseley Distributors supplies Beulas, Indcar and VDL coaches.
