Taunton School has taken a second Scania K 410 EB with Interlink bodywork. The latest delivery comes after the school was impressed with the performance and quality of an existing vehicle. It has been leased through Falcon Vehicle Solutions.
The new coach is a 12.8m model and to the same specification of the previous vehicle. It has 57 seats with three-point belts and a USB charging point at each position, a DVD player and parallel lift luggage locker doors. Local dealership Scania Bridgwater will look after the new coach on a two-year repair and maintenance package.
The new Scania Interlink for Taunton School will be used to meet daily transport needs for students, where the two coaches in the fleet remove around 5,000 car miles from the roads each day. It will also carry pupils to events, activities, trips and sporting facilities across the UK.
Says Scania Bus and Coach Regional Account Manager Richard Birt: “We are proud to supply a second coach to Taunton School following the success of its first. We wish the school and its fleet all the best.”
