Stagecoach Manchester has launched a flexible ticket called Flexi Day 5. It gives five days’ travel in any 30-day period for the price of four day tickets and is aimed at customers that now spend fewer days at their work locations, or who have part-time or shift-based positions.

The Flexi Day 5 will also suit leisure travellers, says Stagecoach. It has been introduced after the operator engaged with its customers.

Says Managing Director Elisabeth Tasker: “It is clear that, as we move out of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, that there is a need for increased flexibility for both commuters and leisure customers.

“As a result, we have introduced the Flexi Day 5 ticket to give people the transport option they need and to ensure that they can travel around the region in confidence as we look to return to normality.”

The new ticket is obtained via the Stagecoach Bus app. Once the purchase is complete, five Manchester Dayrider tickets then appear in the My Tickets section of the app. Customers are told how many tickets of the bundle remain available to use.
