Added to the Wheelers Travel fleet is a B11R with MCV Evotor bodywork. It is the first coach for the Southampton-based operator to be supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).

Good experience with used vehicles from the Swedish marque led Wheelers Travel MD Derek Wheeler to the B11R Evotor, he says.

“We wanted a new coach that would meet our growing needs for a vehicle that can handle longer distance work, while at the same time meeting the requirements of emission control zones in towns and cities.

“The B11R, with its Euro VI engine, ensures that we can do that. We have purchased Volvo before, but they were used vehicles. We were keen to add a new Volvo coach.”
