Arriva Guildford marked the retirement of one of its longest-serving staff members by bringing a vintage Aldershot and District heritage bus to its depot for the day.
75-year-old William (Bill) Tutty retired after 57 years of service, and the bus was a type of vehicle he drove when becoming a bus driver with Aldershot and District shortly after starting as a temporary conductor in 1961.
He become the chief inspector of Arriva Guildford in 1970, and then the area manager of Newbury.
