Bouden Coach Travel has revealed the part it played in the Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer charity choir’s Britain’s Got Talent audition.
The Birmingham-based operator sponsored the charity and provided one of its VDL Futura coaches for the choir to travel to the audition in London – the first time they had sung in public.
The choir was formed by the charity very recently, and is made up of women with breast cancer and some of their friends and family. Veronica Kumeta, Founder and CEO of Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer, says: “We started doing it as a kind of therapy, a way of taking the patients’ minds off the horrible illness they are suffering from, and fighting to overcome.”
Monisha Chauhan, Lead Sales Executive at Bouden Coach Travel, says: “The choir performed amazingly on the night, received a standing ovation, and four yeses from the judges, who were thrilled with the performance.
“They are such a lovely group of women and being a part of this project has been an uplifting experience.”
