Business and financial adviser Grant Thornton has named established bus industry figure Charlie Hamilton as Partner, Public Services Advisory.
Mr Hamilton will grow the company’s public services transport advisory offering. He brings over 15 years’ experience in the transport sector. That includes Managing Director positions with operators such as Ascendal Group and The Impact Group along with various roles within Tower Transit.
He remains a Board Trustee of the Campaign for Better Transport and Vice-Chair of the Transport North East Bus Partnership Board. Grant Thornton notes that his CV equals strong experience in advising local and national government, operators and investors from across the transport sector.
As Partner, Mr Hamilton will focus on further strengthening Grant Thornton’s advisory offering to the UK bus and local transport segment. That will include on bus reform, funding, and regulatory change. He will support local authorities and bus operators through ongoing market evolution and advise on opportunities for growth and innovation.
