Drivers and support teams from Go North East (GNE) spent the weekend (10-13 April) in colourful clothing and fancy dress to spread Easter cheer and support their fellow key workers.
Inspired by the rainbows appearing up and down the UK, GNE staff returned praise received from NHS workers, care and retail staff for keeping them connected during the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
The company also took part in the āclap for our carersā activities across depots on Thursday (2 April) to show appreciation for NHS workers.
Says Managing Director at Go North East Martijn Gilbert: āIt was great seeing our workforce get on board with this light-hearted initiative which helped add some much needed Easter cheer to the weekend.
