Essex operator Trevor Wynn passed away on 17 September after a short battle with motor neurone disease.
He joined the industry as a driver for Clarke’s of London, before buying Went’s Coaches in Maldon, more than 20 years ago. In later years he had become a one minibus operator. After the sale of his larger vehicles he supported other operators by driving for them, notably Essex-based Kirby Coaches and Fourways Coaches.
Trevor had an irascible wit and a sense of fun that sometimes transcended the situation. He was a strong supporter of CPT Essex on local issues and regionally through ‘fam-trips’.
Trevor leaves a partner, Joy, and three children Gareth, Simon and Wayne.
His funeral is on 16th October at 1120hrs at Pitsea Crematorium.
