Jason Bedford, latterly Senior Manager Service and Training at EvoBus (UK), died peacefully on 4 November after a short illness. He was 47.
Mr Bedford joined the Coventry dealership’s aftersales department in 2007 and in his most recent role he led a team of 10 people. EvoBus (UK) has described Mr Bedford as a “glass half full person, with an impish sense of humour that helped us through some difficult times,” with an approach to and focus on ensuring that customers’ product and service experiences were always as good as they could be.
“Not only have we lost a dear colleague, but also a kind and thoughtful man. Our thoughts and prayers are with his young family, his parents and his friends,” a spokesperson for the dealership continues.
Mr Bedford leaves his wife Leonie and two children, Jamie and Leah. In lieu of flowers, family members have asked that a donation to Cancer Research UK in Mr Bedford’s memory is considered. A dedicated page is available for those that wish to do so.
