Jane Phillips, Managing Director of Pride and Joy Clothing, has been named as a finalist in the 2020 Amazon Everywoman Awards, in recognition of her work in transport and logistics.
The 60 finalists represent ‘the most outstanding individuals working in transport and logistics today’. The award showcases the work of women throughout the industry to demonstrate progression and increase avenues of opportunity.
Pride and Joy, which specialises in the design and delivery of uniforms and accessories to the coach and bus industry, closed on 27 March owing to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. In the meantime, Jane has helped firms navigate social distancing requirements by developing seat signage products for vehicles.
Co-Founder of Everywoman Maxine Benson MBE says: “We are thrilled to announce the finalists for the 2020 Amazon Everwoman in Transport and Logsitcs Award.
“With the Coronavirus outbreak shining a spotlight on how crucial our transport and logistics sector is, celebrating role models and creating a strong pipeline of female talent is more important now than ever before.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Grosvenor House London on 6 October.
