Rise Digital Media has named Kate Holder as Client Support Manager (Schools’ Transport). She will join the digital services and technical solutions provider on 9 January and combine her role there with an existing position at operator Masons Minibus and Coach Hire of Tring.
With Masons, Ms Holder is responsible for managing all aspects of the business’s school bus administration. Existing knowledge generated by those duties leaves her well placed to work in Rise’s newly created dedicated school transport team, the supplier says.
Prior to joining Masons, Ms Holder worked in project management with Reuters, FTSE and accountancy body ACCA.
Speaking about the appointment, Rise Digital Media Operations Director Chris Nice says that in 2022, the supplier has invested heavily in its products to support the management of home-to-school services.
“Kate’s experience of administering school transport services as an operator, along with her knowledge and understanding of our NextStop platform, means that she is ideally placed to support Rise and our customers as we continue to increase our presence and enhance our standing in this area,” Mr Nice continues.
“We very much look forward to Kate joining the team and introducing her to our school transport operator customers.”
Adds Ms Holder: “I very much look forward to joining the team at Rise and being able to help new and existing customers to build their knowledge of the NextStop system as somebody who learned it themselves from the ground up.
“During my time with Masons, we have moved from being fully paper based to fully digital, with the help of NextStop. I am a self-confessed perfectionist who loves working with people, and I am fully committed to getting a job done right. I have seen the NextStop system improve immeasurably over the past few years, and I am a big advocate.”
Ms Holder’s appointment represents further growth for Rise Digital Media. In late 2022, it recruited Spandana Makina as Senior Applications Engineer.
