Stagecoach East Midlands has presented a cheque for £500 to the British Heart Foundation (BHF) in honour of one of its bus drivers.
Andrew Taylor, 46, from Grimsby, passed away in December from a sudden heart attack.
Nearly 200 employees contributed to a collection organised in a bid to raise money for Andrew’s wife Rosemarie.
Stagecoach EM is purchasing a CPR training kit from BHF and offering training for staff. The operator is also running a campaign to highlight the risks around heart disease.
