Stagecoach Yorkshire’s ‘social media guru’, Carol Jones, has made the shortlist in the Stagecoach Group Champions Awards.

Now in its eighth year, the awards recognise the ‘exceptional people’ who make a difference to the business and its customers every day across six areas: Customer service, safety, health, community, environment, and innovation.

Carol has been nominated in the Customer Service category for her work managing Stagecoach Yorkshire’s social media channels.

She says: “I am really proud to have been nominated, and a little in shock.

“I really enjoy the role as I just like helping people and try to answer any queries they have as quickly as possible.

“I like to be friendly and personable – it’s good to keep things easy-going and it’s always nice when you can have a chat or a bit of laugh with people online, too.”

Carol will receive a two-night stay in London incorporating the award ceremony on 14 November, and spending money.
