Mark Dale has been appointed as the new Finance Director for Transdev in Yorkshire and Lancashire.

Mark says: “I’m delighted to be appointed as Finance Director of Transdev.

“I’m very much looking forward to being part of the team, and to working with our amazing people to help us remain en route to continued stability, profitability and growth.”

Transdev CEO Alex Hornby says: “It’s a huge pleasure to welcome Mark to our team. We conducted a very thorough process to secure the right person for this important role and were very impressed by Mark’s experience and approach.”

Mark joins Transdev from Arriva-owned rail firm Grand Central, where his role as Finance and Business Development Director saw him play a key role in its continued success as one of the country’s very few ‘open access’ train operators.

“Mark brings a wealth of knowledge from his previous role in the transport industry,” adds Alex. “I have no doubt he has the skills we need to help the continued success of Transdev across the north of England.”
