Dave Feltham has been promoted to Engineering Supervisor by Uno, where he will work with the Hertfordshire operator’s Head of Engineering to lead the delivery of high maintenance standards and dependable services for customers.
Mr Feltham has been with the University of Hertfordshire-owned business for 13 years. Most recently he worked as a Vehicle Engineer, building a reputation for commitment to maintenance standards across the fleet.
In recent months, Mr Feltham has played what the operator describes as “a very important role” in supporting its new newly-appointed Head of Engineering. That saw him step up to provide leadership and continuity during a period of change, Uno adds.
“His willingness to take on additional responsibility and support both colleagues and the wider business has made a significant contribution to the engineering team,” it continues.
Mr Feltham’s bus industry career started in 1999. He worked across several depots in London before moving to Uno. With over a quarter of a century of sector experience, he brings a wealth of technical knowledge and practical experience to his new supervisory role, the business says.
Speaking about the promotion, Commercial Director Simon Newport adds: “Dave has been with the business for a long time, but in recent months he has really stepped up to help take it forward. I am really appreciative of his efforts, and pleased that he has been rewarded with this new role.”
