Meeting the Voddens at BUSK’s launch of its new Driver CPC course, Protecting Drivers and Pupils on the School Run (see this week’s Big Story), was a unique experience.

I think many people know the history of the case, but their presence brings home the gravity of the current situation. 
There were so many feelings and a rapid growth of understanding in just a few hours: Humility, anger, admiration and finally hope.


When greeting the schoolchildren on Thursday morning, I had the feeling that times have changed. My observations are more intense, and minor irritations are less important. Happy smiling faces have never been as rewarding.
