I truly sympathise with Simon Hayes of Forest Coaches as regards to damage from poorly managed roadside vegetation. Gloucestershire County Council did have a manual on the subject some years ago, however it never really worked.
County Councils have the power of enforcement but rarely take it to task. I retired from driving some years ago, but nevertheless, I still campaign for roadside maintenance… to little avail.
