Good fuel management is an effective way in which coach and bus fleet operators can reduce their overall costs.

Given that up to 30% of a vehicle’s fuel consumption is influenced by its tyres, it is important the correct tyres for the job are purchased and fitted.

Choosing an A graded tyre in fuel efficiency could reduce a vehicle’s fuel consumption by up to 15%.

It is important to fit the tyre best suited to the vehicle and type of travel it does.

Choosing the right tyre not only influences safety, if influences the efficiency of the truck.

The more efficient the tyre, the less fuel it uses and the less CO2 emissions are given off.

Therefore, with the right tyre choice fleet costs can be significantly reduced, with potential savings totalling thousands.
