Following trials at the Millbrook Proving Ground, Eminox has achieved a Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme (CVRAS) provisional pass for its retrofit SCRT technology on the UK’s best-selling coach, the Volvo B9R.
Eminox was first to gain CVRAS accreditation on buses, first also on the most challenging of vehicles, RCVs and again first to complete testing on coaches. This will be the first coach system to be passed and approved by CVRAS, and reinforces Eminox as a market leader in retrofit solutions for ULEZ and CAZ.
Operators can now have cost-effective upgrade options for the whole range of Euro IV and V B9R vehicles with the D9B engine.
Eminox is now working with industry partners on further accreditations for a wide range of vehicles to provide solutions for the ULEZ that come into effect from April 2019.
