Makita has introduced the DVC260 backpack battery-powered vacuum cleaner that it says will speed up the cleaning of vehicle interiors and reduce the physical burden on cleaning staff that previously used mains-powered vacuums.
Two batteries that can be charged in 45 minutes give 60 minutes’ run time in high-power mode and 90 minutes’ in low-power mode; other batteries are available for quicker recharging times.
The vacuum weighs 4.3kg and is supplied with a harness. It has a dust bag capacity of two litres.
