Coach Hire Comparison is working with its operator partners to provide free transport for charitable initiatives in the North of England.
Among such offerings that have recently been completed was a trip to Scarborough as part of the Leeds Children’s Hospital summer programme. The supplier worked with A&A Coach Travel of Boroughbridge to give young people aged between 14-25 with long-term health conditions and their families an opportunity to visit the coast.
Other initiatives have included free travel between Manchester and Blackpool for 10 participants in the Diversity Foundation’s charity bike ride to raise funds for mental health outreach in Uganda.
Coach Hire Comparison has also partnered with Yelloway Coaches of Rochdale to transport the Lancashire Schools FA under-16s to the English Schools Football Association Finals Day, where all three Lancashire teams were victorious.
Head of Coach Hire Comparison Matt Hanson travelled on the Scarborough trip. He says: “These events are more than just about transportation; they are about creating positive experiences and lasting memories for those involved while fostering community support, wellbeing, and inclusivity. I had a great time accompanying the trip and we look forward to supporting similar initiatives in the future.”
A&A Coach Travel Director Antoni LaPilusa adds: “When we found out about these trips, and how much it would mean to the hospital and of course the children, we decided to provide the coach service free of charge.
“It was our pleasure to transport the group safely and efficiently throughout the day. The sun shone and a great time was had by all, including our driver, who thoroughly enjoyed working with the group.”
