Checkpoint hosted a demonstration of its stud and hub cleaner as well as providing vital information about wheel safety.

It was issuing a guide which featured a five-step break down to ensuing safe wheels.

The guide highlighted what need to be checked to ensure wheel loss doesn’t occur.

The tyre: Worn area around the stud hole caused by friction; cracks radiating from the stud hole; stud hole elongation.

The wheel nut: Corrosion; Damage to thread; and excessive wear.
