First Travel Solutions has launched its Driver Companion app. It is for use by vehicle supplier partners that lack robust tracking systems of their own or have not adopted the Kinesis hard-wired solution offered by the business.
The company says that the Driver Companion app represents a “revolutionary” solution for vehicle tracking that enhances transparency, safety, communication and overall service quality.
It is available from the Apple iOS store and the Google Play store. Use of the app empowers drivers to share their location in real-time, and it comes with what First Travel Solutions describes as several key features for optimal performance and user experience:

- Infinite geofence monitoring, giving tracking of unlimited geofences with advanced capabilities

- Seamless background operation 24/7 without continuous location updates. That overcomes “strict background app limitations for unmatched performance,” says First Travel Solutions.
