Giti Tyre has added several patterns to its three peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) range, taking the total number of options to 23.
The introductions cover long-haul, regional, urban and mixed service applications across all axle positions.
3PMSF-certified tyres must perform better than traditional mud and snow (M+S) marked casings. Giti notes that some countries in Europe have focused on road safety in winter conditions.
Germany and Sweden have updated 3PMSF requirements to include steer axles and other countries have similar projects in progress.
