It is imperative that the correct oil is is used in vehicles, both in the engine and gearbox and also in many other components.
With that in mind, German additive specialist Liqui Moly has launched an online oil guide that encompasses many of the most popular coach and bus models.
Its oil guide also lists the correct types of many other operating liquids, including brake fluid, antifreeze and power steering oil, and the process of accessing the information is more intuitive than it was previously, says Liqui Moly.
“The oil guide is the most popular part of our website,” adds CEO Gunter Hiermaier.
“Every day, 5,000 users search for the correct oil. Just a few clicks are enough to select the make, the model and the engine, and the user is provided with a list of the correct fluids.
“This is so important, because oil is not just oil anymore. Using the wrong grade is like fitting the wrong replacement part. The consequences can range from a loss of warranty cover to increased wear and problems as serious as total engine failure.”
