Parts and glass distributor Carlyle Bus & Coach has been acquired by LPW Europe.

Established in 1972, LPW Europe is a vehicle cleaning specialist. Both companies are hoping to grow through each other’s markets.

West Bromwich-based Carlyle will retain its distinct brand and independence.

John Turton and Neil Bottrill have both retired from Carlyle’s board.

Mo Hassanyeh, previously Operations Director, has been promoted to Managing Director.

The Carlyle management team has also recruited Sheila Tomkins as Purchasing Manager and Dale Leach as Glazing Manager.

Mr Hassanyeh says: “I am extremely excited by the acquisition, which will now allow us to build on our growth strategy to become the customer’s first choice in the supply of vehicle parts and glass, while continually improving our service and performance levels across all divisions.”

Laurie Moon, Group CEO, adds: “LPW Europe’s acquisition of Carlyle Bus & Coach provides a major growth opportunity for both of our businesses, through an extended service offering to our clients. We are excited to continue into the next chapter.”
