Orbcomm can improve fleet compliance

The Orbcomm coach and bus telematics management solution “improves tachograph compliance, driver performance, fleet safety, operational efficiency and workforce productivity,” says the company.

The coach management solution permits drivers to take advantage of driving time regulations on international trips. That includes managing the 12-day rule. In-cab messaging and job delivery can also be undertaken.

Data is collected, aggregated and evaluated via cloud-based analysis and information platform FleetManager. Managers can see that data at all times, including that relating to location, status and drivers’ hours information.
