Sentinel Systems has introduced a six-channel DVR system. It is a compact, robust recording unit that forms part of Sentinel’s range of intelligent surveillance solutions.

Sentinel says it allows for easy installation and access. The unit has GPS and G-shock recording as standard, bespoke alarm inputs and remote monitoring and download capability It also has up to 2TB of hard disc storage.

The unit can be connected to up to six of Sentinel’s cameras, including reversing, side and forward-facing models. Footage stored on the hard disc can be accessed by hard wire, wi-fi and 3G/4G downloading, giving live view capacity if the operator logs in via the Sentinel-hosted server.

Says Sentinel Systems Director Allan Robertson: “This is a versatile mobile DVR system with a lot of advanced features.

“The new technology is ideal for installation in large and small commercial vehicles at an affordable price. We believe that it is important to provide an affordable, high quality surveillance system to promote enhanced road safety.”

The unit has anti-vibration technology and it can be mounted anywhere within the vehicle.
