Unwin offers a range of wheelchair lifts, among many other products

When it comes to safety, reliability, quick installation and ease of use, access and restraint specialist Unwin’s range of BraunAbility wheelchair lifts is second to none.

Unwin is trusted across the world by passengers and safety professionals, and it delivers innovative solutions to maximise vehicle accessibility.

That’s why its BraunAbility Q-Series lift range is now available with a choice of a split or solid platform. Both retain all of the existing benefits associated with the Q-Series: Reliability, robustness, rigidity and quiet operation. All Q-Series lifts are designed for both side and rear door installation.

The split platform variant comes with either a larger platform destined for medium- and long-wheelbase vehicles, or a smaller platform that is suitable for more compact vehicles such as the Volkswagen T5 and T6.

The solid platform is a basic standard platform for a shorter depth that leaves more space for seats inside the vehicle. The classic design is easy and quick to install, with fewer adjustments required.

And now, by adding Unwin’s Bluetooth receiver to the wheelchair lift, it can be controlled via a smartphone or a similar device. The Autoadapt Remote App is easy to use and is a great wireless complement to the original wired hand control.

Unwin’s FEAL transport and tailboard ramps have a unique surface treatment that provides excellent grip, and it makes loading and unloading simple, safe and easy. The ramps are secured in the vehicle with Unwin’s floor mounting plates, and they can be mounted or removed in one easy process.

Ramps can be tailor-made according to specific dimensions, and mounting brackets are available for most vehicles for quick installations.
