Vision Systems has an electronically dimmable window for coaches. It can also give information such as time, temperature and remaining distance in addition to providing smart shading.
The windows allow elimination of blinds and curtains. The dimming system is integrated into the glazing and it allows passenger to instantly change the opacity of their window, or part of it, from clear to dark.
Automatic control via light or temperature sensors is available and retrofit is possible. Vision Systems says the glazing reduces air-conditioning power draw and improves passenger ambience.
