Zenobe Energy has secured a non-recourse £25m debt facility from Santander Corporate and Commercial to support its continued growth as the UK’s largest independent owner and operator of battery storage.
The capital raised will allow Zenobe to invest in improving the resilience of its power supply, reduce energy costs, finance the construction and/or purchase of new battery storage project and expand its services in the battery electric bus sector.
Zenobe Energy says its solution is enabling the faster take up of battery electric buses in the UK. It is already involved with several such projects.
