Specialist minibus tourism operator BusyBus is adding Manchester Airport as a new departure hub, with the backing of the airport.
The partnership is underpinned by Manchester Airport’s desire to increase its own tourism offer by developing its “already superb location and facilities making this a fully integrated, easily accessible transport hub.” alt=”” class=”figimg” src=”https://www.route-one.net/wp-content/uploads/BusyBus_Wales1.jpg” style=”float:right” />
From Monday (11 June) 2018 BusyBus will operate their award-winning full-day tours from the railway station at Manchester Airport.
The location was selected due to its excellent connectivity to incoming visitors and all parts of Manchester via the frequent and economical rail and tram connections.
BusyBus has been delighting passengers on full-day sightseeing tour adventures from Liverpool and Chester since 2003 with a selection of sightseeing tours to The Lake District, North Wales and Yorkshire.
BusyBus tours follow a proven itinerary delivering customers a careful mix of sightseeing and activities on a fully-narrated entertaining day out.
The fleet of purpose-designed 16-passenger touring minibuses navigate routes rarely explored and often too small for larger vehicles to negotiate.
Says Andrew Saunders, Surface Access Strategy Manager, Manchester Airport: “As the UK’s global gateway in the north, it is important for us to have connections to our neighbouring northern cities, so I am delighted that the BusyBus will now be departing from Manchester Airport.
“Our catchment area is vast, with a whole host of fantastic towns, cities and countryside on our doorstep for people to explore, so I’m sure this sightseeing tour will prove incredibly popular with our incoming passengers and locals alike.”
Says BusyBus Operations Director Vera de Ruiter: “We’ve invested in the best vehicles and, more importantly, the best tour escorts who love their jobs almost as much as our clients love their days out.
“We’ve been overwhelmed with the welcome and support we have had from Manchester Airport and Marketing Manchester in making this happen.”
