A 26-year-old man from Somerset who was jailed for 16 months in March after beating up a 64-year-old bus driver, has had his sentence halved.
James Peter Higgins beat up the driver of the Nippy Bus in front of school children after his BMW got stuck behind it on the A30, London's Appeal Court heard on Friday (May 18).
The driver suffered cuts and bruises, and was left psychologically scarred.
After the road rage incident he drove on to work but told his boss he had done something wrong.
He handed himself in to the police soon afterwards, conceding that he has anger management problems.
