People in the south west have the chance to experience luxury travel as Bakers Dolphin launches its ‘Gold Taster’ programme.
Its Gold Coaches with 50% more legroom, luxurious leather seats, a separate lounge area, on-board entertainment, hostesses, free Wi-Fi and refreshments are normally used on international tours.
Instead, they are being used on a series of UK short breaks in March and April.
Destinations include Dunoon; Shrewsbury; York and the Peak District; Lincolnshire and Tenby.
Bakers Dolphin Sales and Marketing Director, Amanda Harrington, says: “People who have not experienced the Gold Coach or have not been on a coach holiday for a number of years, will be in for a treat.
“Our aim is to make the journey as relaxing as the trip itself and show travellers that the holiday begins as soon as they are picked up.
“We decided to run these special taster trips for our customers as we wanted as many people as possible to experience the magic and luxury of Gold. We also know that once people have tried our Gold brand they’ll be bitten by the bug and will be desperate to look through our brochure and pick their next tour.
“Holidaymakers will enjoy all the added comforts and class of our Gold Coach Service at a fraction of the usual price, in fact prices start at just £229 for five nights away or just £179 for three days on one of our Mystery Tours, which include the added excitement of the suspense of where you’ll be going. There are also no supplement fees on our Gold Tasters.”
Bakers Dolphin is one of the largest and longest-established coach holiday companies in the region, with a history dating back to 1889.
The company runs pick up points across the South West and many holidays offer convenient home pick-ups. With two shops in Broadmead and the Sovereign Centre, Weston-super-Mare, Bakers Dolphin specialises in short breaks, UK and continental holidays, day trips and theatre tickets.
