At the CV Show, ProVision will demonstrate a new mobile app targeted at fleet managers and which helps to reduce risks and boost compliance.
It covers accident reporting and first-user checks and can be used either as a standalone product or in conjunction with ProVision’s Cloud Connected plan.
“The app helps fleet managers to supplement data collection by making it easier for drivers to complete checks. Information from walk-round checks and accident reports it entered digitally and immediately relayed to the fleet manager,” says MD Mervyn O’Callaghan.
For first-user checks, the app allows data to be gathered and stored. Fleet managers can compile bespoke checklists tailored to their own requirements and certain points can be marked as critical.
Managers will be notified immediately if a vehicle does not satisfy the checklist. Requirements of schemes such as FORS can easily be added.
The accident reporting section walks drivers through the critical information that needs to be recorded. The user can store photos and video, input text and descriptions, and tag reports with a time and date stamp. Once logged, the information is stored or can be forwarded to insurance companies.
