Constant improvement is the name of the game for Treka Bus and safety

Treka Bus has a constant focus on improving the safety of its products in all areas, including design, feature development, customer training, day-to-day operation, maintenance and servicing.

“Safety forms a fundamental pillar of our ethos of constant innovation in design, with vital input coming from operator and passenger feedback,” says Production Director Morgan Clissett.

“Our designs have continued to evolve and in recent year that has resulted in practical changes to the standard design of a Treka minibus.

“That has included the introduction of intelligent fasten seatbelt signage, the use of high-grip textured handrails, full wipe-clean GRP interiors to provide greater germ resistance, fitting larger lifts as standard, and making all of our minibuses DoorSafe ready.”

As part of every contract, Treka undertakes full driver and operator training free of charge to ensure that customers are able to get the most from their vehicles.

It also encourages workshop personnel and repairers to attend the factory during build to receive training on the design, features, operation and maintenance of their minibuses.

That has now spawned the Treka Champion programme, where critical staff within a customer’s organisation receive in-depth training at the factory to become internal experts in Treka minibuses. Treka Champions is offered to all Treka customers.
